W. Lee Crouch is a native of Wilmington and Wrightsville Beach. his father, grandfather, and uncle were all pediatricians here. Both sets of Lee's grandparent, as well as his parents, owned property at Wrightsville Beach and Figure 8 Island. Summers at the beach were a huge part of Lee's childhood.
Lee explained, "Selling Wrightsville Beach property was a natural thing for me, my heart has always been in real estate." In 1987, Lee was the 9th agent hired at Intracoastal Realty and he was the top sales agent his first full year in the business.
Since then, he has been named Intracoastal's Sales Agent of the Year and/or Listing Agent more than 20 times; he is listed in Who's Who in Luxury Real Estate.
But Lee didn't go straight from sailing and surfing to being a top producer selling and listing luxury real estate at Intracoastal. He graduated from Wofford College in South Carolina with a degree in economics, worked for Wachovia Bank as a personal banker and as a stock broker for Wheat First Securities.
Now Lee enjoys living in Wrightsville Beach, with his wife, Melinda, and children: Walter 15, Sally, 9.
